Community Involvement
- (2020), Academic Support programme. This is an initiative by the Adult Education discipline for students who do not have computer, writing, and analytical skills within the Master’s programme.
- (2020), KZN HRDC Standing Committee. The committee responds to the human resource development challenges in the KZN Province.
- 2019), Esayidi TVET College. As council members and ministerial appointees, our role is to provide oversight that will ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements and to implement sound governance principles in carrying out the objectives of the College.
- (2019), Mangosuthu University of Technology. Council and Senate member. Council provides oversight over the institution’s affairs. Senate provides academic planning and development.
- 2018), African Confederation of National Associations of Savings and Credit Cooperatives Societies (ACCOSCA). ACCOSCA is a Pan- African Confederation that offers hybrid training programmes intending to enhance professional competencies to run effective cooperatives in Africa.
- (2009), Skills and Education in the City. The project aimed to foster collaboration with all institutions of higher education in the uMgungundlovu region to develop the city’s HRD strategy.
