-The Edgewood Environmental Forum organisation from the Edgewood Campus, UKZN decided to join hands with other organisations in the coastal clean-up at the Blue Lagoon, this was done as an innovative drive to take part and educate people about the importance of caring and protecting their environment and their surroundings.
-The EEF Deputy Chairperson, Mr Luthando Molefe commented, “It’s such a great pleasure for us as the Edgewood Environmental Forum from the School of Education to be engaged on such awareness of taking care and protecting our environment, in this case, of cleaning our beaches for it is us (human beings) who pollute them. Therefore, we must take responsibility for our actions”
